Game to get simultaneous release in Japan, America, Europe; iPad version to be released this fall

Square Enix announced on Monday that it will release its tactical role-playing game Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch devices on August 4 in Japan, America and Europe. The company plans to release the game on Apple's iPad device in the fall.
Famitsu has posted a three-minute live demo of the game, which can also be viewed below.
The original Final Fantasy Tactics game was released on the Playstation console in 1997 in Japan, and in 1998 in North America. It was also released on the PLAYSTATION Network in 2009. Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, an updated version of the game, was released on the PlayStation Portable console in 2007. A PLAYSTATION Network version was released in March in Japan and in July in North America.
The iPhone and iPod Touch version of the game will cost 1,800 yen, US$15.99, or €12.99. The American and European versions will include English voiceover.
