The official website for the Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos (Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Sei-Naru Hoshi) movie began streaming the second video lesson by "Instructor Roy" on Monday. (In the linked page, select "教えて!ロイ教官!!" video icon in the bottom left corner, and then select the "文化編" video icon in the center.)
In the "Culture" lesson of the "Oshiete!! Roy Kyōkan" lectures, the character Roy Mustang explains the cultures of Creta — the country west of the main characters' homeland of Amestris — and Milos — the nation central to the film's plot. Roy's first lesson ("歴史編") about the history of the two nations is also streaming off the website.
The film will open in Japan on July 2.
For the film, Kazuya Murata (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion assistant director) is directing off a script by Yuichi Shinbo (Whiteout). Kenichi Konishi (Tokyo Godfathers) is adapting the character designs from Hiromu Arakawa's original manga at the studio BONES (Eureka Seven). Funimation already announced that it licensed the film for North America.
