The online PlayStation Store service will sell Busou Shinki Moon Angel, an original story anime based on Konami's Busou Shinki line of armed female action figures, starting in the first week of September in Japan. Each weekly episode will be three to five minutes long.
The story will follow the coming of age and Shinki battles of Tsubasa, a boy who dreams of becoming a Shinki Master, and his Shinki partner Arnval Mk. 2 (Kana Asumi). Minori Chihara will play another Busou Shinki named Strarf Mk. 2.
The figure line inspired the first Busō Shinki Battle Masters PSP action-adventure game, which shipped in Japan last July. The figure line's second videogame, Busou Shinki Battle Masters Mk. 2, will launch on September 1. The second videogame has an anime opening sequence:
