The official website of the Morita-san wa Mukuchi animation DVD announced on Thursday that a television anime adaptation of Tae Sano's original slice-of-life comedy manga has been green-lit. The television series will premiere this July.
The four-panel manga follows the everyday life of Mayu Morita, a girl who is exceedingly gentle and thoughtful, to the point that she does not say much of anything to anyone in high school.
The manga launched in Takeshobo's Manga Life magazine in 2007, but it later moved to Takeshobo's Manga Life MOMO and Manga Club magazines. The earlier animation DVD shipped on March 25, after a DVD shipped with the third manga volume on February 26.
