The American television network Sci Fi will launch Studio DEEN's Rave Master anime series during its Ani-Monday programming block on March 16 at midnight, according to its online schedule. This adaptation of Hiro Mashima's Rave fantasy action manga (renamed Rave Master for its English release) will continue running at least through the end of March. Tokyopop's adaptation of Rave Master premiered in Cartoon Network's Toonami block in June 2004. Sci Fi's showings of Rave Master will follow two repeated episodes of Gainax and Bandai Entertainment's Gurren Lagann.
Sunrise and Bandai Entertainment's Mobile Suit Gundam 00 series will go on a break after the first season ends on February 9. Also showing on that day is an anime adaptation of Shirow's Appleseed manga. Rintaro's film version of CLAMP's X manga will follow on February 16. Next is Shigeyasu Yamauchi's Street Fighter Alpha on February 23 and then Feel's Strait Jacket on March 2. The last of the weekly anime features before Rave Master will be Yoshiaki Kawajiri's Ninja Scroll on March 9.
