The May issue of Kodansha's Magazine Special magazine published a crossover one-shot manga story between Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail and Rave (Rave Master) series on Wednesday. Fairy Tail's main character Natsu and Rave's main character Haru are lost in the crossover story, and the heroines of both series embark on a search for them. To celebrate the publication of this crossover, the magazine is offering its reader a QUO pre-paid card, illustrated with the art from the story's first page, via a mail-away form.

The May issue of Magazine Special also has five color illustrations of AKB48 idol group members by five manga creators: Tomomi Itano by Miki Yoshikawa (Yankee-kun to Megane-chan), Haruna Kojima by Toshihiko Kobayashi (Pastel), Mayu Watanabe by Kouji Seo (Suzuka), Atsuko Maeda by Atsuko Nanba (Tonari no Atashi, Sprout), and the AKB48 sub-unit Not Yet by Reiji Miyajima (AKB49 ~Renai Kinshi Jōrei~).
